The Federation of Hays County Women Board

	President - Johnell Huebner graduated from Texas Tech University with a degree in Marketing and is currently the Owner of Clearly Classy Events based out of Kyle, Texas. She began planning events at a very early age for fun and started to make a career out of it shortly after graduating college. Her resume of events is far reaching including golf tournaments, galas, reunions, pageants, street festivals, weddings and many more. She was recently named one of “San Marcos’ Shining Stars Under 40”, she was a finalist in the Austin Business Journal “Women of Influence- Profiles in Power” and In 2009 was named the Volunteer of the Year by the Kyle Area Chamber of Commerce. She is a recent graduate of Leadership San Marcos and currently serves as President of the Federation of Hays County Women that her and three other ladies co-founded just one year ago. She sits on the Executive Board of Directors for the Kyle Chamber of Commerce and is very involved with my community activities. She has been married for nine years to Russ Huebner and is the mother of two children Madeline and Ashton.
	Vice President -Michele Schalin is the owner of Josiesque Designs website services & Texas Best Chambers, chamber web development. She serves as the Vice President for the Federation of Hays County Women and as President for the Onion Creek BNI Chapter in Austin. She is a member of the Buda Chamber of Commerce, Kyle COC, San Marcos COC and Lockhart COC. In 2011 Michele won Business Person of the Year by the Buda Chamber. An outgoing networker, Michele loves to meet new people and is always up for an new adventure. She loves to hike, swim, bike, play tennis... anything active outside! Favorite subjects to talk about; family, personal growth, fitness, movies and music. Michele has been married to Rich for 23 years and has two grown children Richie and Heather.
	Communications - Kate Shaw earned a graduate degree in Spanish from Texas State University in 2009. She works as Volunteer Coordinator for the Hays-Caldwell Women’s Center, managing more than 150 volunteers each year to support the staff and clients of HCWC. She sits on the board of Leadership San Marcos and is President of Pet Prevent a Litter (PALS) of Central Texas. An avid cook and gardener, Kate lives in San Marcos with her husband, Eric, and three dogs.
	Meetings & Event Cooridator - Dani Hensley was born and raised in Oregon and I have lived in Texas for 6 years. I spend my extra time with my family usually outdoors and in the summer on the lake or river. I’m glad to be a member of the FHCW because it has allowed me to meet other women professionals, hear great speakers and allow me a vehicle to better serve my community.
	Membership - Leila Harrington is the Owner of Time 2 Tan; a Mobile spray tanning business. She is also a marketing Representative for Advanced Imaging radiology clinic. Leila is a proud mother to two children Emma and Alle; and also has a step daughter Melaine Harrington. She is a graduate of Texas State University and resides in San Marcos, Texas. She is happily married to Ty Harrington whom is the head baseball coach for Texas State University. In her free time Leila enjoys spending time with her family and supporting Texas State athletics.
